Syntactical GTM Choir (NYC) 2011

The primary territory of the performance was Composition No.256 by Anthony Braxton, a Ghost Trance piece, which can be heard at the beginning and the end of the performance. At various points, the choir breaks up into fluid groupings which move through different compositions including excerpts from Trillium E and Composition No.221. The groups also incorporate Language Music, as well as a few “surprises” (which other groups did not know about), including an accordion duel and a 4-hand piano interlude.
