In Memoriam - Jack Beeson

New World Records and DRAM regret to announce the death of composer Jack Beeson, who passed away on Sunday, June 6th, at the age of 88. Beeson, an emeritus professor of music at Columbia University, was known for his opera "Lizzie Borden" and more than 100 other pieces, including chamber works, songs, symphonic scores and other operas.
