Carnegie Classifications & Fees

DRAM's fee structure is based upon the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education as adapted by JSTOR and ARTstor. To determine your institution's category, please review our classification guidelines below or contact us at: answers@dramonline.org.

Fees represent the full annual cost of a subscription to DRAM. These amounts include unlimited access to DRAM's complete content, from both on and off campus, and no limit to the number of simultaneous DRAM users.

Very Large:

All institutions classified by Carnegie as Research I.

2017 Very Large: $1,995 USD

Large:

All institutions classified by Carnegie as Research II or Doctoral I.

2017 Large: $1,695 USD

Medium:

All Doctoral II and Masters I institutions with FTE enrollments above 2,500.

2017 Medium: $1,295 USD

Small:

All Masters II and Bachelors I colleges with FTE enrollments of 1,000 or more; Doctoral II and Masters I institutions with enrollments below 2,500.

2017 Small: $995 USD

Very Small:

All Bachelors II institutions; Doctoral II, Masters I & Bachelors I institutions with enrollments below 1,000.

2017 Very Small: $795 USD

Independent/Music:

Independent Music & Art Schools, for which the base subscription fee may be reconsidered or renegotiated based upon a variety of factors.

2017 Ind/Mus: $495 USD
