DRAM

Becoming a DRAM Participant, Step-by-Step

Educational institutions in the United States, Canada and many other countries can currently become DRAM participants.

  1. Determine your Classification & Fees:

DRAM uses Carnegie classifications in order to maintain fairness across all institutions participating in the project. DRAM has your Carnegie Classifications on record, and if you are outside the United States, we will typically use your JSTOR/ARTstor classification, if you have one.

  2. Complete the License Agreement:

Please fill out the DRAM license agreement (US) or DRAM license agreement (Non-US) , paying particular attention to pages 9 and 10. If you have questions while reviewing the agreement, please call 646-442-7936 or email answers@dramonline.org.

  3. Return the License Agreement:

Send two print copies of the license to:

    DRAM Library Relations
    75 Broad Street, Suite 2400
    New York, NY 10004
    USA

You can also fax or send a scanned copy of pages 1, 9 and 10 of the agreement to 212.290.1685 / answers@dramonline.org in order to speed up the installation process, but please also send print originals by mail.

  4. Send us your Institutional Information:

Please also send us your Shibboleth, proxy and/or IP address information so that we begin getting everything ready for activating your account. Please also let us know who the primary, technical and administrative/billing contacts will be, and if you prefer a print or electronic invoice (or both). DRAM Payment Options Form

Once we receive all information and the agreement from you, we should be able to install your institution within 3 business days or less. You will receive a welcome email once access is initiated, and a welcome packet including a signed copy of your agreement should reach you about a month after your paperwork is received.

Thank you very much for your interest in DRAM - we look forward to hearing from you.
